July 17th my mom, grandma, little brother Landon, friend Savanna, and I left for Laughlin, Nevada. This was the start of our five day trip. We arrived pretty late so we checked into our rooms and went to bed; my grandma had actually bought Savanna and I our own room in a separate casino from them. July 18th we took Landon bowling, and then went to see the new Aladdin movie (it was amazing!). Other than that and going for food we didn't really do much. On the 19th we packed up our stuff and headed to Las Vegas.

The day of the concert finally came and we were so excited. What can I say? It was truly an experience. After going out for food and getting ready, we went downstairs for Starbucks (my name was spelled wrong but are we surprised?). When we got back to the room, Savanna was on Instagram and found out that Eben (@ebenofficial on Instagram)- the boys' opening act- was at that same Starbucks just thirty minutes before us. We were so upset that we missed him, if we had only went down sooner... When we finally got downstairs to the venue entrance, the guy said that general admission wasn't allowed to line up until six. So, Savanna and I decide to walk around- explore a little. As we were walking around the side of the venue/hotel a girl walked passed us who looked vaguely familiar. We quickly found out that my gut was right, and it was in fact Tatum Dahl (@tatedoll on Instagram)- a girl associated with Why Don't We (thought to be Jonah Marais' girlfriend). We we're absolutely crushed knowing we had seen her and had not talked or gotten a picture with her. We were obviously doing great at the whole 'meeting people' thing. But we were given hope when we were finally let into the venue. We made our way to our seats and before the show started, we got to meet Zack Caspary- WDWs ICONIC photographer. He was in a rush and taking pictures with a bunch of people. The girls who got their picture before us, he told them they were the last ones(he really had to go). But he turned and saw us waiting patiently, and gladly took a picture with us- we were the last ones. He was so sweet and absolutely adorable. If you're into photography check out his Instagram, it's @zcaspary. He's phenomenal.

The concert itself was absolutely amazing and truly one of the best days of my entire life. We ended up being way closer than we thought, though from our seats there was a good section of the stage covered by the curtain. This meant that whenever the boys were lined up, we couldn't see whoever was on our end nor could we see half of the screen. But, we didn't let that get to us. Eben was AMAZING. He sounds incredible live and his dancing warmed my heart. LAMBO is my personal favorite song along with his newest song Plastic Angels. After intermission, the boys finally came on. Being able to see them, right there in front of me was so surreal. It's a totally different experience seeing them on a screen, than it is seeing them in person. It's like... Confirmation that they're real people, you know? I didn't really realize this until the third song 'Choose'. The boys got off the stands and walked further into the stage; Daniel finally came into my view and I could actually see all the boys clearly, then suddenly everything hit me. I genuinely cried so much just out of pure joy of seeing these boys who have managed to make my life so much better, standing there in front of me. I definitely cried through most of the show. All of the boys sounded absolutely amazing, their outfits were killer, and their choreography was totally on point. Definitely a time I'll never forget. Savanna also bought me a poster after the show and I will high-key be eternally grateful.

After the show we went to our room to eat, and officially decided to walk around downstairs for a while. We wanted to explore and hoped we might run into the boys along the way. Man were we in for a ride. When we finally left the room, we only made it to the elevators before we were hit with our first wave of shock. Standing in front of us, getting off of the elevator was Eben himself. Savanna and I froze in our tracks. I stared at him in shock, covering my mouth, my entire body frozen in place. He had the biggest smile on his face though and talked to us for minute. He said 'hi' and asked if we enjoyed the show, surprisingly I answered without stumbling over my words like a complete idiot. We would have asked for a picture if he hadn't been taking his luggage to his room- we didn't want to seem rude. It was still such a shock meeting him, we definitely were not expecting it. We let ourselves calm down as much as we could and continued to walk around outside and in our casino a for quite a while. We saw Caspary a few more times in there, but we chose not to bother him. Other than that, we weren't having much luck.

We were starting to become a little discouraged so we went up to the room for a little while to take a break (and so I could change my shoes). We made our way back through the Casino and to the elevators. Shock wave number two. We noticed someone walking out from the elevators wearing a 'Why Don't We' hoodie- we froze once more and had no idea what to do. The one and only Corbyn Besson was walking towards us. He notice my shirt (and our shocked expressions) and talked to us quickly. He explained that he was really in a hurry and that he was really sorry. I cried as soon as we made it into the elevator. I might not have gotten a hug or a picture, but at least I can say that I lucky enough to have seen him. He is an absolute angel and I hope one day I will see him again and get that hug that I desperately need.

This was honestly a trip that I will remember for the rest of my life.
